Yes, we have no house

Our efforts to buy a home in the Tyler area have not been successful. We will head out on Thursday without a home to return to but we will fix that in the fall. After our trip we will return to this area, park at an RV park, and search until we find our new home. We have found several lakes in East Texas that have wonderful homes with the things we are looking for in our home. There is a reason for everything so we will just sit and wait for the right house to come along.

The weather has been quite rainy the past two days but it started to clear up this afternoon and is suppoosed to be nice tomorrow. Mike and I got out for a round of golf on Friday and we had a good day. We played at Buffalo Creek Golf Club where Jeff Kindred, our former GM at Black Mountain is now the GM. We were paired with two nice guys and a good time was had by all. I managed an 80 and Mike shot 79 but I got the money with a $6 win. David, Rachel, and Cole will come over tomorrow afternoon for a cookout and conversation with us and Mike and Patty. They haven't seen Mike and Patty's new coach so they have a treat in store. On Tuesday we will all go to their place for dinner and Mike and Patty will be able to see their fantastic home on the Sky Creek Ranch golf course. I will try to post a couple of pictures of the get togethers tomorrow. I had a phone conversation with John Sunday afternoon. He and Christine are now safely back from Italy and they start back to work on Monday. They had a wonderful time in Florence, with a few side trips, but sounded ready to be back home.
