Stu & Tippy's Travels

This Blog will be used to document the travels of Stuart and Tippy Reid as we travel this beautiful country in our motorhome. We will hopefully be able to share our experiences in words and pictures and allow our friends and family to enjoy them with us.

Colonial Williamsburg

Our drive from Pinehurst to Williamsburg was very pretty and fortunately the traffic was light. Since we had been there before we weren't very good tourists. We did drive to Jamestown and then along the river on the Colonial Parkway back to Colonial Williamsburg. On Wednesday Mike, Jerry, and I played golf with my friend Richard Wight at the Gold Course at the Golden Horseshoe Golf Club. The course was great and we had a wonderful time. On Thursday Tippy and I did a little shopping and then went to lunch. After lunch we did some grocery shopping and then returned to the Rv park to relax for the remainder of the afternoon.

I haven't been very good about taking pictures the past few days but I will post what I have. I will try to get some better ones during the next few days and post them for your pleasure. We have decided to change our schedule slightly. We stayed an extra night in Williamsburg and then traveled to Greensboro today, Friday, and then tomorrow on to a "Dog Friendly" RV park in Rutherfordton, NC. The park has two or three areas where the dogs are fenced so they can play off the leash. They also have an agility course that the dogs can try as well. We will stay here for three nights instead of going to the Outdoor Resorts RV Resort in Brevard, NC. From Rutherfordton will will drive to Nashville on Tuesday, June 28, and will attend the Grand Ole Oprey that evening.

I will try to post again from Four Paws Kingdom if I have access. Until then, be safe.
