Stu & Tippy's Travels

This Blog will be used to document the travels of Stuart and Tippy Reid as we travel this beautiful country in our motorhome. We will hopefully be able to share our experiences in words and pictures and allow our friends and family to enjoy them with us.

High and Dry

We have survived hurricane Rita and it seems to be west and north of us now. There are actually no clouds in the sky here in Corsicana today. We were able to get our furniture delivered yesterday and Dale should arrive tomorrow with the rest of our things. It will take a while to get settled, but we at least have a place to sit down and two guest rooms ready for guests. We did have a little wind damage to the house last evening with several shingles being blown off the roof. Fortunately we did not have any rain so there was no water damage at all. We will move in officially tomorrow, Monday, and will begin our lake life. More pictures will follow but today will be just a picture of the new "Red Truck." Be safe.

Just can't see you driving a truck. However, if you start chewing tobacco and hang a shotgun in the back window you might qualify.
