Howdy Ya'll - On our way Home
We had a wonderful time on our trip west to Arizona. Our visit with Mike and Patty, at their new place in Yuma, was very enjoyable and they were excellent hosts. We traveled with them to the Ranch on the 21st and spent Christmas with Karen, Sue, and many of their friends. They continue to do little things to make the Ranch more comfortable and esthetically pleasing. The biggest changes were on the east side where wildflowers have been planted and the entire area cleaned up and improved.
The group chose to draw names for Christmas and it made gift selecting much easier. The thoughtful gifts given, and received, were appreciated and will be enjoyed into the new year. We had a spell of cold weather that kept us off the golf course but we managed to enjoy ourselves anyhow.
We departed the Ranch, after numerous hugs, on the 28th and began our trip home with a few stops along the way. We are currently in Las Cruces, NM where we will stay until January 1st. We will do an overnight in Fort Stockton, TX on the 1st and then spend a week in Kerrville, TX until January 9th. From Kerrville we will drive to Montgomery, TX for an Alfa Rally where we hope to meet other Alfa owners and maybe make some new friends. We will be there for a week and then head for home on January 16th.
Unfortunately I forgot my camera at the Ranch so will have to wait until Kerrville, where karen has mailed it to me, before I can take pictures. So you will have to just read for now but rest assured more pictures will be forthcoming. Happy New Year and be safe.
