Perdido Key RV Resort and Yacht Club
We successfully moved the 6 miles from the Terry Cove RV Resort to the Perdido Key RV Resort and Yacht Club on Sunday without incident. This RV Resort is truly great!!! The spaces are only average but the property on the bay is terrific and they have three grills, several tables, and an inside seating area where guests may eat dinner at no charge. The sunsets have been terrific and the people here have also been very nice. We grilled steaks last night, Sunday, and ate down by the water. Tonight we had cocktails by the water, and watched the sunset, but had dinner in our coaches.
The weather continues to be mild and sunny. We were supposed to get a storm this afternoon but it never happened. It clouded up a bit but no rain materialized. We just relaxed today with me reading most of the day and Tippy taking an extra morning nap after taking some Benadryl for some bites she received last evening. We did a run to the store in the afternoon to pick up a few things and then returned for some more reading and relaxing.
Our friend, and realtor, Jackie Wooldridge called today and we have a couple interested in the house but it doesn't seem like a good match. They don't play golf and they don't have an RV. The plus's of the house apparently don't impress them but they keep coming back to look. Maybe they will make an offer, but I don't think so based on their questions and what they are looking for. We feel confident that the right folks will come along and the house will sell, hopefully sooner than later. If you know someone that is looking for a nice home on a golf course, with a share of stock in the golf course and a golf cart, have them call Century Twenty One JR Realty in Henderson.
I took a couple of pictures down by the bay this evening and will post them as well. We leave for Lafayette, LA on Thursday for our Cajun experience. I will post pictures and a story of our experience there on Friday or Saturday. Until then, be safe.
