Stu & Tippy's Travels

This Blog will be used to document the travels of Stuart and Tippy Reid as we travel this beautiful country in our motorhome. We will hopefully be able to share our experiences in words and pictures and allow our friends and family to enjoy them with us.

Chatting at Pizza Party

Birthday Party

Well everyone arrived safely in Las Vegas and we had a chance to catch up with our family. We all got together at Mom's for pizza and chat on Friday evening and then had a birthday dinner at Rio Secco Golf Club on Saturday night. It was quite a weekend and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves as we visited with our kids, brothers and sister, and neices and nephews. We missed our grandson, Cole, but we understand how difficult it is traveling with him at this age. By the way, Rachel is expecting a baby girl in November/December and she will be called Maryn Elizabeth. We hope to be there for her birth if our house hunting works out okay.

David's flight home was canceled due to mechanical problems and the airline moved him to a flight that didn't leave until 10:50 PM. The plus was we got to spend more time with them and they joined us for dinner at our friends Jackie and Jerry Wooldridge. The negative was that they didn't arrive in Dallas until 4:00 AM and then David had to go to work. I am sure he had a long day and crashed when he got home. Rachel's mom stayed with Cole and she was able to stay until the afternoon so I hope Rachel got some sleep before she left.

We have dental appointments today, Tippy also has a doctor appt, and then on Thursday we will head toward Texas. It is still a little warm there so we will stop in Flagstaff, mid 70's, for a week while Texas cools off a bit. We will spend some time in Arlington so we can visit with Cole and then head to Corsicana and then Tyler to look at properties. We are confident that we will find what we want but we do not feel we have to rush into anything. I will send an update from Flagstaff so until then be safe.
