Stu & Tippy's Travels

This Blog will be used to document the travels of Stuart and Tippy Reid as we travel this beautiful country in our motorhome. We will hopefully be able to share our experiences in words and pictures and allow our friends and family to enjoy them with us.

Where does the time go?

Hi Ya'll,
We have been home since our last post in January and I truly don't know where the time has gone. We took a short trip to Montgomery the 7th - 11th of March for an Alfa Rally and we will go to Arlington this weekend for Cole's 3rd birthday. We will be home for only a few day before leaving for Arizona where we will see Mike and Pat and the folks at the Ranch and then attend an Alfa National Rally in Mesa, AZ before heading home on the 25th of April.

We have gotten a few things done around the house and yard. I will post a few pictures of the new counter tops and the new look to out backyard with some of the flowers in bloom. The lake is now up over the 309.6 foot level but this is still over 5 feet below the conservation level of 315 feet above sea level. We now have water under the boathouse but not enough yet to get the boat in. I am guessing we need to get to 311 or 311.5 feet to be able to use the boathouse. We are looking at the possibility of rain again next week so hopefully we will get some and it will fall in the right place - in the watershed.

We are still planning our summer trip but have made a few commitments already. We hope to have the kids and grand kids here for a long weekend in June before we hit the road. We have to be in Wheaton, IL for the APL Championship, just to see the guys, by July 5th. I have also made arrangements to fish, with a friend I met on the Internet the week, of July 14th. Other than these events we are still pretty much open although we do have a route and scheduled stops. We will confirm our RV parks in New England before the end of April as we understand they fill up quickly when the "peepers" come.

Enjoy the pictures and keep in touch with us by e-mail or phone. We want to hear from you too! Be safe.
