Snow in Texas

Well as you can see from the pictures above we have had some snow here in Texas. Fortunately the heavy stuff was mostly north of us as david received over 12 inches in his backyard. Most of what you see in the pics was gone by the next day but it was kind of nice for a little while. Enough is enough though! It is supposed to snow again tonight and tomorrow. We are predicted to get from 2-4 inches as the main storm will be south of the metroplex.

Based on this winter weather, and us missing our friends in Arizona, we have decided to spend several weeks in Arizona next winter. We don't have any specific dates yet but from sometime in mid December to the end of January looks about right. We will also set aside some time to get up to Las Vegas to see family and friends since it looks like we will miss them this summer.

We are off to see the kids in Keller the first week of March. Cole's school has Grand Parents day on the 5th and he has a basketball game on the 6th. from the metroplex we will head for Durant, OK for an Alfa Rally and then to Louisiana to have new shocks put on the coach. We will then make a short stop in Tyler to do some shopping and maybe take in a movie before heading home. We then plan to be home until we leave for our summer trip in June.
