Florence, Oregon

We arrived hewer in Florence on Tuesday after a nice ride up the coast. We couldn't see much of the ocean except right north of Gold Beach but the ride was nice through the trees and up and down a few hills. The park here, Pacific Pines, is very nice with lots of plants and all concrete sites. I played golf at Sandpines G.C. yesterday and found it to be a very nice course. The wind was down and I joined up with a couple of guys from Vancouver, WA and we had a good time. I have included a few pictures from Sandpines so I hope you enjoy them.

Tippy and I went to dinner On Tuesday at the China Bay restaurant and had a great meal with so many leftovers they will be our dinner tonight. Tippy made pasta last night and it was delicious as usual. We are getting ready to go to Old Town by the river for some chowder this afternoon. I will also try to get a haircut later this afternoon.

Tomorrow we head for Lebanon with a stop in Junction City to have the folks from Innovative Coach Works look at our HD antennae. It apparently got hit with something as is not locking onto the satellites properly. The signal is normally in the high 90's on all satellites but right now some are in the 50's. Fortunately we can still watch TV but the picture quality is not as good as normal.

Mike and Patty are already in Lebanon and there will be seven more couples arriving tomorrow. We will have a party to catch up and say to friends we haven't seen since last summer. More from Lebanon, enjoy the pics and be safe.
