Stu & Tippy's Travels

This Blog will be used to document the travels of Stuart and Tippy Reid as we travel this beautiful country in our motorhome. We will hopefully be able to share our experiences in words and pictures and allow our friends and family to enjoy them with us.

Niagara Falls, On to Verona, NY to Monson, MA

Hi All,
We are currently in Monson, MA after spending four days in Verona, NY at the The Villages at Turning Stone. This RV park is an enterprise on the Oneida Indian Nation and is quite beautiful. They have three golf courses, a large hotel and casino, villas, and a huge special events building for concerts and headliner stars. I played golf at one of their courses on Wednesday and had a very enjoyable time or at least as enjoyable as it can be shooting 95. I joined up with a young couple from Connecticut and we had a good time together.

Unfortunately during dinner on Monday I spilled an entire drink on the computer! The computer was on and I am afraid I fried the motherboard. I took it in to Best Buy on Tuesday and was pleased to discover that I had purchased an extended warranty on the computer and had also added the accidental damage coverage as well. Bad news maybe two weeks without the computer, good news I don't have to pay the $800 to fix it.

I am doing this update from the Library in Monson, MA. They have free computer access so I won't have to quit browsing cold turkey. Monson is a small town that was established in 1760 and some of the building look like they may have been originals. There are many new buildings though and the area is very nice. We are staying at the Sunsetview Camping Area which is a large RV Park with many seasonal sites. We have a nice end pull-through with shade on the patio in the afternoon and we get satellite TV so we are as happy as a bug in a rug. We will be here until Monday when we will venture off to New Hampshire for a couple of weeks. I will add some pictures when I get my computer back. I am hoping that the hard drive won't be damaged and no data is lost, cross your fingers. In the mean time be safe and I will try to post from New Hampshire if I can find another friendly library.
